So I have been getting political emails from friends lately…mostly forwarded to me and a list of others, which were forwarded by their friends and etc. I am not publicly political, I don’t try to sway people other than to look at both sides, and point to resources and other fact finding engines. I am passionate only about one thing, being fed BS…I don’t care what wing or party or whatever, just don’t feed BS to me.

Its not just about politics though, it could be anything, just go to snopes.com and take your pick.

Anyway I get a letter forwarded to me from David Letterman. Its a very deep thought provoking letter, so I realize right away its not written by David Letterman. (The letter is found on the link at the end of this post)

So I responded to my friend and everyone on the CC list this way:

The writer of this made a very good point, brilliant in fact, that most of us are so gullible that we believe the constant propaganda that we are bombarded with. Just like we are into style over substance, image over depth. We’ll listen to a common sense, but only if its packaged right, and makes us feel good (less filling, taste great!)…its like coke without pepsi, you wouldn’t be as passionate about your coke if there was no pepsi in the world and vice a versa.

In any other world, country or universe, the dems and republicans would be considered moderate wings in the same party…and McCain and Obama, like cola wars are both just sugar and water. But common sense also has to be packaged right, hmmmm, let’s get David Letterman on the cover of the box ha ha…

Anyway here you go…

http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/davidletterman/a/spoiled_brats.htm

Yeah, I am sure no one knows what I am talking about.
