There are certain places in Campbell where the joke “you can’t get there from here” can be applied.  Even Historic Downtown Campbell might be considered one of them, for those newbies who are coming from up from San Jose on the 17 I have had many difficult times explaining how to get there.  This is because I know the shortcuts, but can’t explain them easily enough, and I have a mental block on how to explain the easy way.  You know if you are a Campbellite, there is no easy off ramp, one, two, three “you are there” directions.  Its not that bad though.  Doesn’t matter anyway, we have yahoo and google maps, and most of my friends have GPS these days. Still what is the best way to downtown Campbell from the freeways?  I say always from Winchester … turn east into Campbell Ave.  Then slow down and relax…
